Sea to Sky Nordics operates the John Heilig Squamish Legacy Sports Park, located at 1080 Raven Drive in Squamish. This facility is our year-round training base, with facilities for dryland training, a biathlon range, and a summer ski jump. It’s also home to our Summer multi-sport adventure camps for youth aged 8-14 years.
Whistler Olympic Park is the primary winter training location for Sea to Sky Nordics. It was the host venue for Nordics events at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games – and enjoys some of the most reliable snowfalls in Canada in the coastal snow belt of the Callaghan Valley. It is host to 55 km of ski trails, a biathlon range, two large winter ski jumps (K125 and K95), as well as smaller training hills.
Lost Lake Park is located within the Community of Whistler and is operated by the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW). Lost Lake boasts 30km of groomed trails suitable for novices to experts. There are also 4km of lit trails for night skiing.
Nestled amongst the trees, the municipal park trails take you to breathtaking vistas overlooking Lost Lake and both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.
The Cypress Mountain Ski Trails are located on Hollyburn Ridge just 40 minutes from the heart of downtown Vancouver. The trail system boasts 19km of groomed and track set trails, including 7.5km lit for night skiing.
Located amongst the forest trails at First Lake is the historic Hollyburn Lodge. There is a long history of Nordic skiing at Hollyburn including some of the first ski jumping facilities in western Canada.
