Track Attack Program Description
(Year of Birth: 2010-2015, ages 10-14)
Our Track Attack program is directed at children ages 10-14 (the ‘Learning to Train’ stage of development). This is the third level of our Youth Skill Development Program. Track Attack is designed to further develop and refine all the cross-country ski skills, including speed, power and aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility, as well as develop good ski habits.
The objective of our Track Attack program is for the participants to become technically competent cross-country skiers, and to utilize those skills to begin a lifetime of enjoying a wide range of Nordic activities.
The ski practices will alternate between skate and classic technique.
PREREQUISITES
Our Track Attack program is designed for skiers with at least 1 year of both classic and skate cross country ski experience. If your child is 10 years of age or older and is new to cross country skiing, they may need to take a few private lessons and/or be willing to ski in a group with younger children to facilitate the best group placement. Please contact us for further information.

There is a Teck Regional Fall Dryland Camp taking place in Whistler from Sep 26-28.
We also have four rooms (8 kid spots) reserved for Teck regional winter camp Dec 5-7th, staying at the Whistler Athletes’ Centre and skiing daily at WoP. We will send out more info about this after registration.
These programs are for kids ages 9+. If you are interested please email seatoskynordics@gmail.com and we can put you in touch with the head coaches for those programs.
