Multi-Sport

Our multi-sport programs are for ages 8 and up. Read below for a summary of our programs and click on each program link for more details including upcoming program dates and registration.

Young Vikings Multi-sport (ages 9–14)

The Young Vikings program is a winter program that combines cross-country skiing, ski play and snow bump jumping with Biathlon activities. Approximately half of the sessions are biathlon oriented and the other half of the sessions focus on balance and coordination development through ski play and snow bump activities. This program is an excellent introduction to Nordic sport and will prepare the participants to enter Biathlon, ski jumping, Nordic combined or cross-country sport programs in subsequent seasons.

Ideally participants would also participate in a Track Attack or Jack Rabbit program to further develop skills in skate and classic skiing.

The true value of this program is the confidence and competence developed on Nordic skis and we hope a lifelong love of Nordic skiing and physical activity.

Summer Multi-Sport Camps (ages 8-14)

The summer multi-sport camps held at the Squamish Legacy Sports Park are a fun way to spend a week in the summer. Participants are exposed to cross-country, biathlon, and ski jumping skills as well as more traditional camp games and activities such as hiking, climbing/rappelling, campcraft, disc golf, slip and slide for a very active week of summer fun. Many participants take part in two or more week long camps each summer. This is also a great introduction to Nordic sport and our winter programs held at Whistler Olympic Park.

Summer Advanced Multi-Sport Camps (ages 10-14)

The next step for multi-sport camp participant. Similar activities to the regular multi-sport camps but more… more physical, more technical and more challenging. We will use our bikes to travel to take advantage of additional sport and recreational activities in and around Squamish.
