Year of Birth: 2004-2008
Our Track Attack program is directed at children ages 10-12 (the ‘Learning to Train’ stage of development). This is the third level of our Youth Skill Development Program. Track Attack is designed to further develop and refine all the cross-country ski skills, including speed, power and aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility, as well as develop good ski habits.
The objective of our Track Attack program is for the participants to become technically competent cross-country skiers, and to utilize those skills to begin a lifetime of enjoying a wide range of Nordic activities.
The ski practice will alternate between skate and classic technique.
Our Track Attack program is designed for skiers with at least 1 year of cross country ski experience. If your child is 10 years of age or older and is new to cross country skiing, they may need to take a few private lessons and/or be willing to ski in a group with younger children to facilitate the best group placement. Please contact us for further information.
