Young Vikings
This exciting program combines cross-country skiing, ski play and snow bump jumping with Biathlon activities. Unfortunately the Young Vikings program will not be offered in 2021-2022.LEARN MORE
Multi-Sport Adventure Day Camps in Squamish
Enjoy cross-country, biathlon & ski jumping activities plus the more traditional camp games, hiking, exploring, campcraft, badminton & disc golf.
Program Level:The program is individualized to match age and skill levels. Many participants take part in two or more camps each summer.
Entire camp is held outdoors! Large Pavilion for shelter!

Time: 9am-4pm, Mon to Fri
Early Bird Rate: $345/wk until July 15
Regular Rate: $360/wk

Young Vikings PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Young Vikings program is designed for 9-14-year old participants. The program combines cross-country skiing, ski play and snow bump jumping with Biathlon activities. This is an afternoon program that allows participants to participate in a Jackrabbit or Track Attack cross-country program in the morning (link to X-C programs) and the Young Vikings program in the afternoon for a full day of fun.
There will be opportunities to participate in fun events such as Nordic cross relays as well biathlon and multi-sport events that focus on skill acquisition and teamwork.
The Young Vikings program is for participants in the FUNdamentals and Learn to Train stages of the Canadian Sport for Life – Long Term Athlete Development Model.
The Young Vikings Program will not be offered in winter 2021-2021. The cross-country Adventurers program includes many of the elements found in the Young Vikings Program.
