Track Attack 2017-2018 (Sundays) @ Whistler Olympic Park

Year of Birth: 2004-2007

Our Track Attack program is directed at children ages 10-12 (the ‘Learning to Train’ stage of development). This is the third level of our Youth Skill Development Program. Track Attack is designed to further develop and refine all the cross-country ski skills, including speed, power and aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility, as well as develop good ski habits.
The objective of our Track Attack program is for the participants to become technically competent cross-country skiers, and to utilize those skills to begin a lifetime of enjoying a wide range of Nordic activities.
The ski sessions will alternate between skate and classic technique.

Year of Birth: 2012-2013

Our Bunnyrabbits program is directed at children four and five years old (the ‘Active Start’ stage of athlete development). The program is designed to develop fundamental movement skills (with a focus on balance and agility), coordination, self confidence, imagination and social skills.

Jackrabbits 2017-2018 @ Whistler Olympic Park

Year of Birth: 2008-2011

Our Jackrabbit program is directed at children ages 6-9 (the ‘FUNdamentals’ stage of athlete development). This is the second level of our Youth Skill Development Program.
Our Jackrabbits program is divided into four levels, based on ability and experience.
The objective is for children to learn basic cross-country ski skills (classic in Levels 1 and 2; classic and skate skiing in levels 3 and 4) and to instill a lifelong interest in the sport, thereby enhancing their quality of life and health.
