Recreational Summer Biathlon Camp 1
Interested in getting involved in the sport of biathlon? Or looking for an exciting summer sport experience in Whistler? Then take a shot at biathlon with a Sea to Sky Nordics recreational summer biathlon camp! Held at Whistler Olympic Park, these camps are a unique opportunity to try this thrilling sport at an Olympic venue.
These camps provide an in-depth biathlon experience over the course of a weekend. Whether it is your first time trying biathlon, or if you have tried it in the winter before and want to get some more experience, our certified instructors will make sure you have a blast!
The camps are for ages 10 and up and no prior biathlon or shooting experience is required. These camps use real .22 calibre rifles on the same targets and trails used for the 2010 Winter Olympics, and our biathlon instructors are trained to ensure safety and provide first class target shooting instruction.
Participants will receive rifle safety and biathlon range orientation, lessons on biathlon rules and competitions, target shooting instruction, and take part in fun biathlon games and will participate in the open category of the Summer Biathlon Series on the Sunday afternoon of the camp. At the end of the camp, you will get one of your paper targets to take home to show what a great shot you have become!
